Dumfries ladies 1s/2s team final friendly vs Uddingston 3s before the start of the season saw a slow start to the first quarter. However by the second quarter Dumfries ladies had settled well into the match, maintaining the majority of possession.

With strong crosses from Sloan on the right, Dumfries continued to build in the attacking D. Before the end of the second quarter Barbour slotted the ball across the D to Sloan on the move who scored with pace & accuracy.

The third quarter also started very strong with more composure and possession for Dumfries. A cracker of a ball from Beattie on the left set Mcclymont up for a great touch into the back of the goal.

In the final quarter Dumfries started to tire and Uddingston won back to back penalty corners. However, Dumfries were able to keep a clean sheet ending the match 2-0 winners.

Lots of positives for the ladies with special mention to Gray, Hamlet & Paterson for their debut for Dumfries ladies.

Thanks to Ryan Johnston for umpiring the match.
