With the very earliest pushback allowed for a game Dumfries had a very early meet time for only their 2nd game this Season with a break of 2 months since there only other one.

The early start must have been still on their minds as the mainly Youthful side allowed 2 early goals. During the rest of the first quarter Uddingston created several chances but Dumfries somehow managed to ensure no more goals were allowed.

End of Quarter 1
Uddingston 2-0 Dumfries.

The 2nd quarter began similar to the first with a couple of the Uddingston team players who were producing several skills which probably meant they were not players who often played in this lowest division especially as before the game a few of the Uddingston players were asking the names of some of their squad.
Unfortunately after so much pressure and chances it was obvious that this would result in several goals and it was a difficult quarter for Dumfries

Halftime
Uddingston 7-0 Dumfries

After a positive half time team talk still in their ears the Dumfries team realised it wasn’t the result they should be worried about but their own performance the Dumfries side played a lot better in the third quarter with some great team play in patches but unfortunately couldn’t create any clear chances.

Uddingston still managed a couple of goals in the 3rd quarter.

End of Q3

Uddingston 9-0 Dumfries

The final quarter was similar to quarter 3 with Dumfries playing well but been physically overpowered by the older Uddingston players.

Although it was extremely tough game it was great to see that the much younger Dumfries team still trying to play to the final whistle and they never gave up which showed a maturity and positive attitude above their young ages.

A big thank you to Iain who came up to umpire and also Jack who was the Team Coach.

A mention goes to Andrew Gunning who played his first League game for the Club alongside his son .Yet another father/son combination that have played for Dumfries

Player of the match Liam Mills.
