

With an early start from KGV required due to the early push back of 10:30 Dumfries travelled to Clydesdale 6s in the hope they could register their first win of the Season.
Unfortunately in the first quarter Dumfries played like they wanted to be back in their beds and found themselves 2-0 at the end of Quarter 1.
The first part of the second quarter continued similar to Quarter 1 as Dumfries lost another 2 early goals . However at last in the middle of the second quarter Dumfries woke up and started playing some better hockey but couldn’t convert it into any meaningful chances.
With the team talk about continuing on the final part of the 2nd quarter performance, unfortunately Dumfries couldn’t do the his and conceded another 4 goals in a very one sided quarter.
Clydesdale sportingly put on all of their Younger players in the final quarter to give the much younger Dumfries youngsters a chance and it was a much closer game with Dumfries having a couple of short corners but couldn’t find the net .
They conceded a late goal to make the final score Clydesdale 9 Dumfries 0.

The 2s now have a week off to regroup which they will need as they have to face the Top 3 sides of the league before the Christmas break
